Tiebas


Landscape out of Izco -- we hoped for cloudy skies and no rain on Monday's walk to Tiebas.



Wild flowers continued to brighten the path.

The Road to Tiebas included many rocky dirt paths, 'up-and-down' hills, and then narrow wooded trails that led to villages.

At the entryway of Tiebas stands the ruins of the 13th c. castle of Teobaldo I.

Back to the albergue after dinner -- the bell tower of 16th c. church of San Juan Bautista shines as evening falls.
